discussed and listened we spend,

on literature of all.

Men of literary before Merdeka,

with their weapons of pen and ink;

through publishing of news media,

injected the heart of nationalisme.

Children of tomorrow live in health,

creativity in education all the while;

handful of knowledge from wealth,

being the citizen of never wild.

Art of engagement live in the land Malaysia,

handing dowries and presents for the bride;

joy and happiness on the faces of relatives,

waiting for the big day be bright.

Journey to the end of life will come,

when nothing be carried with us;

leave our wealth behind lonesome,

everything will be hopeless.

Flowers will fade and die,

sunshine spread its ray;

beauty will lay bye,

and fade in the evening day.
